HOME MADE DIWALI SWEETS & SAVOURIES

Hi all, Happy Diwali once again with my home made sweets & savouries !

Diwali the festival of lights comes every year and brings with it a lot of excitement, gaiety, a fun-filled atmosphere and plenty of sharing of sweets and bursting crackers with family and friends, as they celebrate the victory of good over evil, of light over darkness, of Rama's victorius homecoming to Ayodhya after 14 years in exile, of Lord Krishna's defeat of Narkasura... 

This year's Diwali, though low key, minus the noise and visits of near and dear ones holds a special significance and meaning, as we face darkness of the worst kind, due to the pandemic. 

But where this is darkness there is light too and so is hope . Diwali brings with it the message that there is light at the end of the tunnel and as we battle bravely with the pandemic, there will be victory too. 

So lets celebrate the hope of a better tomorrow with Sweets and Savouries !
