CARROT RAITA


INGREDIENTS  :

Carrots – 2 Big or 3 medium

Green chillies – 3 to 4 

Curd -1 cup or depending on the quantity of the grated carrot

Sugar – ¼ tsp 

Mustard seeds – ½ tsp for seasoning 

Coriander leaves for garnishing – a few 


METHOD :

1. Grate and wash the carrots and keep in a bowl

2. Add chopped Green chillies 

3. Add Curd, little sugar and salt and  mix all the above together.

4. Heat oil in a Kadhai / or in a long seasoning ladle 

5. Add Mustard seeds and when they stop spluttering pour on the curd and carrot mixture and stir immediately

 6. Garnish with coriander leaves.

7. Serve Cold
