TOMATO ONION RAITA 

Ingredients

Tomatoes – 2 big or 3 medium
Onions -  2 medium

Green chillies – 3 to 4 

Curd -1 cup 

Sugar – ¼ tsp 

Mustard seeds – ½ tsp for seasoning 

Coriander leaves for garnishing – a few 


Method :

1. Wash Tomatoes and Onions and cut into quarter pieces and keep in a bowl.

2. Add chopped Green chillies 

3. Add Curd, little sugar and salt and  mix all the above together.

4. Heat oil in a Kadhai / or in a long seasoning ladle 

5. Add Mustard seeds and when they stop spluttering pour on the curd and carrot mixture and stir immediately

6. Garnish with coriander leaves.

7. Serve Cold 


(Note: The method is same as the Carrot Raita and the same method can be used to make the white Radish Raita)
