The Maharashtrian Poha (Flattened or Beaten Rice) - the breakfast must in every Maharashtrian household, can also be eaten differently as an evening snack . It is called Dapde Pohe. Had it for dinner yesterday and it tasted really yummy!

Maharastrian Dapde Pohe Snack with Lime and Peanuts |
INGREDIENTS
Thick Poha i.e. Flattened or Beaten Rice - 1 cup
Green Chillies - 4 to 5
Green Chillies - 4 to 5
Onion - 1 big
Lime - 1/2 lime
Roasted Peanuts - 1 .5 tbsp
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Seasoning
Oil- 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Garnishing
freshly grated coconut
coriander leaves
coriander leaves
Method
1. Place the Poha in a sieve and sprinkle water over the dry poha and wet it slightly.
2. Take a bowl and add chopped onions, green chillies, salt, lime and coriander leaves and mix well..
3. Let it stand for five minutes.
4. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds,then put curry leaves and peanuts and saute.
5. When the peanuts are slightly reddish add all of it in the bowl and lastly add pohe.
6 Mix all together, then add coconut and coriander leaves.
