I had posted a Bulgar Wheat Salad last week. People loved it and so did I with the good feedback and response I got. 😊😉 

A few friends wanted to know what Bulgar Wheat was so penning some information about it. Bulgar is an edible cereal grain made from dried, cracked wheat. Usually, Durum wheat is use but other hard wheat species, like Einkorn, are used as well. When cooked, it has a chewy consistency similar to couscous or quinoa. The flavor is earthy and nutty, much like quinoa. This cereal grain is used in Middle Eastern cuisines and so also in the Mediterranean and West Asian cuisines 

This whole grain is rich in fiber, magnesium, iron and manganese and considered more nutritious than refined wheat products. It is a versatile grain and can be used in salads, tabbouleh, soups and pilafs. It is easy to prepare and cooking or soaking in warm water if precooked helps to cook faster.

It is available in stores specially those selling international food products. I bought this (in the picture below) from one such store in Delhi.
